First, some stuff from months ago that I didn't cover at the time. In the Sunday Times' Culture supplement of the 13th of May, two pieces caught my eye, provoking opposite responses. One was a 'You say' comment.

Harry Hill's TV Burp is just pathetic. It amazes me that ITV1 can humiliate other channels when all they churn out is endless soaps, cosy ( Read more... )

Thanks for giving them a try. :) I wasn't sure anyone would, which is why I didn't include the answers. I've now added the answers to the bottom of the entry; but if want to take some guesses before checking, here are some clues:

80 and 84 are spells.
81 is a location.
82 is an actor.
83 is one of the Knightmare books.

Cheers. (I also received a suggestion outside LJ.) I've always liked that song, but it's a little upbeat for me at the moment.

I think this is what I'll go for for number 7: 118 118 Flashdance, a spoof of this. I've been really enjoying the related radio ads, and found the video by chance not long ago.
