I don't agree with spanking children. I was spanked as a child and all it did was make me dislike my parents for being what I perceived as unreasonable. It never gave me the feeling that I had misbehaved. I always felt like what they were doing was worse. The whole idea of spanking being and effective form of discipline on an intelligent being is ridiculous. Corporeal punishment only works if your really hurt the person to the point where they feel they are going to die. Like if you hit someone in the gut till the puke and then hold them down as the gag on their own vomit, and only let them breathe at the last second.
And there are some good Westerns. I've never even heard of any of those Westerns on the top ten there.
