<3 I really love the way that you ended this, having Santana recognize her own loneliness through a friendship of sorts with Sugar. Wonderful.

Thank you! <3 These characters seemed, to me, like they could each use a solid friend. That said, they also seemed to me like the people least likely to admit that to themselves and seek one out. So I'm really glad that Santana's issues came across okay.

Thanks for reviewing! ♥♥♥

Wow I didn't know where this was going and gave this pairing a chance and I'm really happy I did. I want Santana to have a friend so freaking bad this made me crazy happy.

Thanks for posting!

I'm glad you decided to try this out! I agree that Santana really needs a friend by about now, too. And I'm glad you enjoyed the fic.

Thanks for the review. ♥!

But then the more I thought about them the more I realized that they have a lot of the same problems, although they choose to deal with them in different ways. They're both people who, until this point in time, were content in being at the top because of both other people's work or money and also because of their insulting anyone who challenged them (and who are starting to realize that they might not be enjoying the results of that like they thought they would). And I thought that would be something interesting to play off.

And I'm so glad you liked this! These were two fun characters to ( ... )
