I'm practicing writing in alphabet used here in Atlas...It looks weird. I prefer the Fonic alphabet.

Asch...I know we've had this discussion before, but asking for/requiring assistance does not make you a nuisance. We help each other because it's our responsibility, just as you've told me. No one can save this world alone; that's why Martel summoned a bunch of us, not just one person.

It feels good to have a faithful talking critter by your side, doesn't it? I live with a bunch of them back home, so I know what it's like. They've done wonders for me, and I'm sure this Paneer person will do wonders for you, too.

And don't worry about the free dinners; it's no trouble to pay for them. If I ever need help on a quest, I'll be sure to come to you. How does that sound?

By the way, I've left an important note for all the guild members at the inn. You should take a look at your earliest convenience.

I never really thought about it, since I'm more interested in sparring with a swordsman. Since Ad Libitum is supposed to recruit only useful members, I hope you'd give me at least a little challenge.

Fair enough. Whatever happens, it should be interesting.

On the other hand, it should be a good idea to spar with people with different weapons. You never know what kind of enemy we'll encounter here. We should be prepared to counter a variety of styles.

Maybe once in a while, but learning new techniques and parries from someone using the same weapon will help me improve my own abilities. Constantly sparring with someone using a different weapon won't help unless we only fight people fighting with those weapons. Adding an occasional different fight is how to prepare.

Ah...true enough.

Now I really need to spar with Tear. Her style is sure to be different from mine. I could learn a thing or two from her.
