Canterbury and Homeward Bound...

We went out to Canterbury yesterday despite the threat of rain and wind. Glad we went. The town is lovely, it reminded me of how I loved York 20 years ago. That made me feel a bit better. And the cathedral was spectacular to say the least

Sorry to hear about the rush hour mayhem - sounds like London is really getting to the breaking point - really, at some point, they could just get one huge unending train that fits the entire circle line and just slowly moves around with the doors open.

You should be safely home soon - here's hoping you kick that foreign bug soon!
