Okay...so in case you don't know Ashes to Ashes is the sequel to Life on Mars. I'm talking UK here not US (the US version is good in it's own way but the UK version simply kicks its arse). Again, Ashes to Ashes takes place in 1981. Same cast sans John Simm (the amazing John Simm) but we still have (the equally amazing) Philip Glenister as the Gene
