Some Ribon scans!
Hay everybody! I've already crossposted this to ribon_wakuwaku, so apologies if anyone sees this twice. I've scanned in a lot of stuff from recent Ribon issues going back as far as July '08 (first chapter of Mistress Fortune!), so there's a lot of Tanemura in there. It always surprises me how there's such a lack of scans for her stuff, especially in terms of furoku. I'm starting to think there's some hoarders out there xD Anyway, enough chatter, enjoy the scans! Ribon Collection 2009 Calendar
I've said it, like, a million times already, but I'm completely in love with August's calendar page. I can't remember the last time I saw any of her art that clicked quite like this! Am I the only person thinking that the style (well, composition more like) looks like a cross between some of her Time Stranger and Kaitou Jeanne stuff?
If anyone wants to use anything for graphics or what have you, I'd like if you credited melfra for the scans, just so others could find these (although honestly I don't mind as long as you don't claim to scan these yourself). Just talk to me if you want to post these on other sites.
Anyway, if anyone has any requests for title pages or anything, I can do requests. However, I will not do two-page spreads just because I don't want to damage the books, which leads to the second point. These are really starting to take up a lot of room which I don't have, so if anyone's interested in purchasing any of these issues, please don't hesitate to drop a line and we can work something out! Nothing would make me happier than helping a fellow fan fill out their Ribon collection or getting a favorite chapter in its originally published glory =3
