yeah, when scheduling stops being a bitch. free skating some friday, supposedly? on my list: fill out official petition for intro hum, get mcenerney's signature, hand into hum coordinator, see Diane Hermman re: math and find a math instructor who speaks some English and pink slip into it and go to rehearsal every day...
this class that I wanted wanted wanted but there was only one section and so when it was full I came to class anyways for weeks and weeks (10 1/2 to be exact) and refused to leave and did all the reading and participated in discussion and now I'm in
it's the only humanities general ed that focuses on the mechanics of writing over the lit and philosophy and history which it covers. the prof is amazing. the writing is amazing -- we actually write. for class. what a novel concept. not only that, but the readings and assignments are incredibly helpful and thoughtful. and I learn things, things that are more than what any ol' student could pick out of a book on her own, things that are more than what I could teach myself, things that merit a class. sensing my opinion of some of my other classes? but they are gone. and life is amazing right now. aah.
