I always thought they were the best together just around and before Laura asks Kara to find the Arrow of Athena.
Although, Kara is just back from the dead and Laura is sick again so a current time period might work too. Plus Six is in lock down on Galactica and Laura has had a habit lately of just bursting into her cell.
