Dear Ella,
Today is your fifth birthday. I can't even believe how much you've grown. IT feels like only yesterday I was telling your father I was pregnant. I remember every moment of waiting for you to make your entrance into this world. What am I saying? I'm your mother. I remember every moment of your life.
I still can't believe you're starting school this year. I'm still impressed that you're alive and whole, after that whole overdose issue with Rachel. We weren't sure for so long in there. Mark tried to tell me that you'd be fine, but I couldn't believe him, not after his tumor came back. I'm glad he ended up being right in the end.
I wish your father could see you now, my sweet girl. He'd be so very proud of you. You've surpassed every wish I've had for you up to this point, sweetheart. You are my perfect angel, Ella, now and always.
