I remember her as a wee dark haired girl (okay, so she was probably 20-ish at that time) in a fabulous BBC series called House of Elliott She was fab then, and from what little I've seen of her in CSI, she's still fab :-)
I don't think they've started airing her CSI eps over here yet. Stupid networks here don't understand the concept of "series are made up of seasons" and "airing eps in sequence without just stopping in the middle of a season and start up random reruns" when it comes to anything other than soap operas and reality shows *grumbles*
I was =very= pleasantly surprised to spot her in Hildago too, a couple of years ago :-)
Oh, I adored Louise in Hidalgo! Never made the connection between that character and Sofia until about a month and a half ago when I started watching Hidaldo on whicheverpremiummoviechannel it was on, and then all bets were off.
And an FYI? To be completely honest? Sofia becomes more of "her own character" in the current season. There's a specific timepoint when this happens, but I'm not sure if you want the spoiler or not...
