"Be careful removing--"

"I know!" Sara growled, struggling in the back of the Denali. "I do know better than to mess up potential evidence, you know."

"Okay, okay," I replied, moving to assist her. "Listen, let me--"

"No! You stay right where you are, Sofia Curtis! And you keep the guys away, too. Just let me change in peace. And don't you dare peek either."

I smirked to myself. "Nope, not at all." All the while doing what I could to silently maneuver the driver's side mirror to see what I could get a glimpse of. Satisfied with the angle, I let go of the mirror, only to jump in surprise as it snapped back into place. "Shit!"

"What?"

"Nothing, Sara," I replied, shaking my head at Nick and Warrick, who was shaking his head at me. "Just finish getting changed. The guys are on their way over."

"You're playing with fire, Sofia," Warrick murmured, leaning in close enough for only me to hear him. I scowled playfully at him as he leaned back. "Hey, Sara! Hurry it up! Nicky's not getting any younger."

Very nice hustle! I can picture the dual smirks. despite Sara's embarassment.

Oh, and you had an awkward sentence. I figured out what you meant, it's just a little weird, y'know?

Yeah, I know that line's got the "shaking the head" bit twice. I'll fix it when I rework this for the "Five Reasons Sara Hates Sofia" anniversary piece for ralst...

Thanks! I'm actually planning to flesh out this one a bit more, among others, for my "Five Reasons Sara Hates Sofia" anniversary story for you. I've decided I actually like that idea, so am running with it...and these drabbles/ficlets are helping me out...
