I know this email was posted on a f/f list, but FFS! Do we need to have the "barf" factor here? Yes, we all want the hot girlie action. But honestly? If they haven't put these two together on the show by now? Probably not gonna happen in canon. Get OVER it! More importantly? Get over yourselves!

At least Gil/Sara usually stays sub-textual, FFS (I like that abbr!) they've actually shown Catherine with her tongue down some bloke's throat and nobody whispered a dickie-bird of dissent.

Of course, whatever happens it don't change one iota that the scenes between Cath and Sara are still more 'sexual'than the real thing :)

Exactly! Unfortunately mainstream TV caters to the sector that will bring in advertising revenue. And those of us who like the ho!yay just don't seem to give the right advertising vibe, I guess....and I won't get into the religion aspect of it in this damned country....

Honestly? Most of the time, I prefer the fanfic versions of the pairings/characters than the "canon" versions.

All the CSI spoilers/comments seem to contradict one another. A couple of weeks or so ago, around the time of the new Lady Heather episode, William Peterson hinted in an interview that there could be more between Gil and LH in future episodes, and that she was the only character his would be able to connect with.

We were also meant to be getting two love triangles, Gris/Sara/Sofia and Cath/Warrick/Tina, but despite Cath's jealousy very early on, and tension between Sara and Sofia that's never been explained, nada.

Relationship spoilers for this show are very unreliable.

I'm hoping they don't make Sara/Gil canon - they've waited too long and it makes Sara look a little pathetic if she's still pining away (if they were going to do it, they should have done it in series four or possibly five) - but it would be good for the GSR folks if they left them with some subtext/hope - the same goes for all the other ships.

Really? It was supposed to be Gil/Sara/Sofia? I didn't know that. I guessed at the aborted Cath/Warrick/Tina by her initial reaction to his marriage.
