Ooh. A SodaStream! I'd like to know how to feel about it a couple months down the line. From what I hear, the cartridges for it are pretty expensive so I can't decide if it's really worth it to buy one of those thangs.
I was at home yesterday due to another sinus headache that I wanted to keep from turning into a migraine. Success at that, but still kept me home. (Not that I minded that too much. *G*)
I've been wondering about the SodaStreams, now I'm wondering if it's worth getting one for our house. :)
Am so stoked to get a nephew to pass on the family name. Hope to get a niece one day, too, so that I can crochet all the frilly little girlie things. haha!
Am planning to do a post about my impressions so far on the SodaStream and the flavors we've gotten. Still need to price out the replacement cartridges, too. I have a favorite flavor already & a major disappointment in a flavor I'd hoped would be good.
Sodastream is pretty cool. I'm so happy to NOT have to lug soda bottles up two flights of stairs anymore. Although they are no longer allowed to receive spent cartridges in the mail - you have to exchange them at a store. Yay, new regulations... boo. hiss. rinse/repeat. Which wouldnt be so bad, but there isnt a store that is close enough to make it convenient for us. And yes, cartridges are *expensive*.
However, here is a nice hack :) WAY cheaper alternative and less fuckery.
