See, Regina would the obvious one, but I'll let someone else have the pleasure. So... hmmm... Rachel Corrigan.

1. The Cantwell curse. Bitch is cray-cray when she lets her heritage get the better of her.
2. For a psychiatrist, Rachel is very co-dependent and passive-aggressive.
3. She's very judgmental.

1. Too much of a control freak to really be emotionally invested.
2. Too obsessed with devoted to her job.
3. I'm not sure being stuck out in the Delta Quadrant with nowhere to escape to when I needed space is a good thing in a relationship.

Tempted to jump on Regina, in more ways than one, however, I'm gonna pick Dr. Beverly Crusher :)

1. Her mind is still too tied up in Jack Crusher to really give her all for a new relationship.
2. Would YOU want to piss off the captain?
3. She's WAAAAAY outta my league.

Since no-one else went there... Regina Mills.

1. Regina's levels of control freak terrify me.
2. I can't date someone who won't actually deal with their emotions.
3. Being the girlfriend/lover/wife to a high profile politician [and in Storybrooke, she's as high profile as they come] is a daunting prospect, particularly for a woman who is so adamant about her privacy but not anyone else's.

I love these reasons.... even if I do tend to want to just hug her anyway.

1. Regina loves him her completely and utterly. And I won't break that up. But I'd happily be a part of that threesome... Just sayin'
2. Do YOU want to deal with the aftermath of what Cora does to him her?
3. I don't actually have a third reason, because the previous two pretty much sum it up nicely.

And you're quite right, though I came up with some reasons that the general public might use. I just use them as challenges to conquer.

ETA: #3. Smelling of horse manure could get old.

LOL those first two were basically "don't want to get in Regina or Cora's way D:"

The manure *nods* major downside.
okay... I'll let it slide then. but REGINA IS <333333333

True, they were. But they're kind of part and parcel of Danielle's existence, so... Though I was kinda serious about that threesome *veg*
