Queerplatonic. Huh. I've never heard of that term before and yet after reading up on it, it perfectly describes your relationship with Shatterpath, as I understand it. Love and family come in many different shapes really, and I'm happy for you both!

In a way, queerplatonic resonates with me, as it sort of describes a friendship that Jo and I have with a third person, someone who feels closer than a best friend, more like another sister. We just consider her part of our extended family. Interesting topic though, I'm going to have to read up more on.

And YAY for the nephew! Amazing how a teacher can screw up a kid. Still, he sounds like he's back on his way again. Way to go, Auntie AJ *high five*

Queerplatonic also works for my relationship with my nephew's mom.

Yeah, I'm so damned proud of him, it's not even funny. And he's currently sitting with a B @ 85% for math. The quarter doesn't end until April sometime, but still... And apparently I now have to kick his ass for the D in Science he's currently pulling. *shakes head*

It's a lot of fun. And part of me wishes I *didn't* have so much time for it. But it keeps me creative and gives me ways to look into making other artwork, so...
