we love the goodwill buy it by the pound store. when we were still doing the SCA, we found tons and tons of those Indian Sari/pants combos that were beautifully decorated and could resell them for a great markup. Also found plenty of "peasant" style blouses, skirts, trousers, that kind of thing.

Yeah, that's what the Bins store is. I have to see if there are any up in WA, as I don't remember ever seeing any. If there are, we'll be hitting them more often.
speaking of great deals - recently, i was able to trade about 10-13 lbs of old, junk jewelry with someone for a butter cookie cannister of polished cabs and tumbled stone of almost the same weight. was an exceptional trade - all old stock stone.
