What is the current pathology of the bug going around?

I appear to be in the "can't hold anything down (vomit comet)"
This can stop now.

sick

The folks who I know who got this where sick for about 6 hours and then seemed to start getting better. Their version was a fast one, I wish the same on you.

Sorry to hear you caught this, does not sound fun.

different symptoms here.... liquidj2 February 7 2008, 15:09:53 UTC
For me, I've been knocked me out of work for 3 out of the past 4 days. I had a good enough day yesterday that I actually made it in, but I'm back home again today! The symptoms have been:
-moderate head cold (stuffy head, runnynose, semi-blocked ears)
-hacking cough (is that redundant?)
-inability to sleep the night through (waking up at least 3-5 times, in an ALREADY short night of approx. 6 hours, really sux!)
-Raging sore throat for the first few hours of the day which then goes mostly away for the rest of the day, only to come back the next morning.

I've not had the "pleasure" of the vomit comet on this one, but I've always had an Iron Stomach, and usually don't get many gastro-intestinal ailments.
Hope that you feel better soon!

Mine was all lower GI. I was able to hold food down, when I felt well enough to eat. It just didn't process properly.

At this point, I think there's just about everything going around. It's sorta ridiculous.
