You may have seen this or the link on my Facebook page but for those who haven't...recent pictures that turned out pretty spiffy if I do say so myself...

ETA: I should add that these are pictures of my cute little boys and me and the husband, not all the destruction and devastating tornado pictures I have been posting...

Thanks! This is the first time we have actually hired a "real" photographer and while it was very pricey...I think it was worth it. I didn't have a single portrait of us all together since we have had Colin and I wanted one.

I would never be able to have her shoot us once a year but maybe every couple of years or for a special occassion it would be nice.

I wish I had worn my hair down but we were running late and I was making sure everybody else was all dressed and whatnot and ran out of time for myself!

Love these! My (very wealthy) cousin always gets professional Christmas cards, birth announcements, portraits, blah de blah blah, done of her and her family, and definitely totally worth it. However, I don't much like my cousin or her family, and I am extremely fond of you, so that makes all the difference in the world. These are beautiful!

Thanks! She had a portfolio we could look through and some were very formal and others were not. I didn't want stuffy...matchy matchy pictures. I wanted something casual...definitely outside...and just fun and something to capture personalities if possible.

Going in I told her if I could get just one great shot I would consider it a success because I know how hard it is to pose 3 kids and get everybody to smile and not have their eyes closed.

She ended up with 46 and I didn't like maybe 8 or 9 of them. I narrowed it down to 16 then chose what prints we wanted out of those.

My mom went with me because she wanted a picture of all 3 of my boys so we split the cost so it was a little more feasible.
