internet archive now has all of these coronet instructional films online. they were a series of informational movies made in the late 1940s and early 1950s. some of them are pretty hilarious. the one embedded below is "dating: dos and don'ts" which is from 1949. i think the beginning part is the best, wherein the movie tells boys what to look for

this is by far my favorite ephemeral film. it's from 1970 and it's designed to teach kids not to eat worms!!! seriously there was an epidemic of kids eating worms and getting diseases in the rural south. i don't know what i'd do without it:
