I quit Spencers, too. They suspended me for two weeks to do a loss prevention "investigation" as to why I gave an ex-employee my discount in DECEMBER, so when that two weeks were up I walked in there and quit. I was really amazed at how stress free I was for the past two weeks. While I was in there quitting and talking with my old assistant manager, he told me who got promoted in my place. It was the girl that no calls - no shows at least once a month and on a weekend. In May, she did it on a Saturday and a Sunday right after one another. Not to mention that she's just a complete idiot. It makes me think a lot about how retarded that company really is. They would rather keep someone who isn't honest/truthful and who is completely unreliable rather than someone who called off a total of 5 times in 2 years and was always brutally honest when asked about something.
Lowe's isn't the only company fucked ;)
