Pop Tarts (non-frosted) when I'm lazy, or sometimes just snack on fruit or nuts. On weekends my Mom makes some awesome vegan pancakes and I finish it off with vegan sausage and OJ! I'm not exactly a "breakfast" food type person, only occasionally. Sometimes I will eat totally "dinner" foods for breakfast. It just depends!
And I take prenatals right now because I'm breastfeeding and plus they are just good for you after popping out babies, I take whole food ones, not chemicalized ones. I'm also doing a very un-vegan thing and taking fish oil capsules to help my bipolar and to prevent it in my son, because fish oil is the only true Omega 3/DHA source that has been proven in studies to truly help and possibly reverse bipolar disorder. Flax is not equal to it for teeating bipolar. It does nothing for me. So yeah, I figure fish oil capsules is lesser than the evils of perscription drugs and it helps my son too by going through my breastmilk. I'll do anything to prevent him from suffering from bipolar.
Nope. Only frosted ones do. Just plain ole Pop Tarts are vegan. In fact, there's a list I have of conventional vegan foods you can get at the regular stores. Not that they are healthy because most contain a lot of sugar or corn syrup but, yeah.
Pop Tarts, non frosted, are listed in breakfast food. But one day I was desparate and I scanned all 982937293879283 ingredients on the back of the regular Pop Tarts and found them all to be ok.
i always wanted to try those cereal bars but dont they all have milk in them?
90% of the time i have cereal with vanilla soy milk, sometimes i have carob rice cakes which ive just become addicted to, and sometimes i just have a few bananas
and yeah im bad with taking my vitamins too haha i have a B complex vitamin and C vitamins. I usually only take the C when i feel like im getting a cold cos it works magically somehow. but yeah it seems like i dont take my vitamins more than i do :x
I don't know if you're interested, but here's a link for vegan cereal bars on Amazon. The price isn't horrible considering that the packages come in bulk. The packaging is cool too... :P
I usually eat a big breakfast as it is proven that a big breakfast promotes weight lost.
Now I am not a vegan, as you know, so what I usually have are eggs scrambled with cheese and vegetables, a side of fruit, and tea.
I also take 2 apple cider vinegar tablets a day, a daily cleanse ritual (colon cleanse/liver cleanse) and make sure to take one teaspoon of raw, organic, extra virgin coconut oil before every meal. Mind you, all of this is for me to lose weight. I am also on birth control.
thats cool my post wasnt directed just to the vegans/vegetarians, it was directed at everyone, although oddly only the veggies have answered so far haha
the apple cider vineger tablets and the teaspoon of the coconut oil are both for weight list? arent coconuts fattening though?
Breakfasts: buckwheat waffles with maple syrup // 1 egg + 3 egg whites on white bread with mild salsa // apple cinnamon oatmeal sweetened with honey // 1 egg with one mashed banana fried as a sort of "pancake" I prety much rotate through those 4.
Vitamins I take every morning are a multi, vitamin C, calcium + magnesium with D, zinc, D separately, and iron. With dinner I take another calcium/magnesium with D, another iron, another D.
wow do you actually remember to take all those vitamis every day? thats so awesome! i dunno whats wrong with me haha ill take my vitamins on a consistant basis than stop for weeks.
Oh always. I always remember my breakfast vitamins. I've been taking at least a multi + iron supplement since I was 17. It's like part of breakfast for me lol. The dinner ones though, sometimes (but rarely) I forget those lol.
