Another rainy, dreary day. Interestingly, the miserable weather seems to be keeping the folks at large healthy; patient census in the ICU is down to 11. !!! Two secretaries, five patients on one side, six on the other? I was fully expecting them to give the other secretary the afternoon off (I'm out of the running since I went home early a couple

Cool! Now they know (and like) you, and you know (and like) them ... perhaps this is where you'll try to transfer to when your 6 months are up? :)

Probably not. Although I hate to use hotbutton words like "offensive", the atmosphere up there was not conduicive to, well, me. I found myself aggresively cruising the NPR website to counteract the ... I forget, the Stalwart Republican or whatever as well as the conversation going on behind me. Besides, while people were nice enough, they also were just that. Nice. And it always makes me think of the witch's song in that musical. "You're so nice. You're not good, you're not bad, you're just nice. I'm not good, I'm not nice, I'm the witch -- you're the world!"

I'll find somewhere.
