Or you could move to NYC. Aside from, y'know, the climate...and the society...and stuff...it'd practically be like being home in CA. And you'd be close to Vermont. And woods. And lots of friends.
Don't you even start, I've been campaigning on the VT front for two years now, don't you even think that you can sneak in with your oh-so-cute "Look how neat New York is."
Hugs to you, my dear heart. I would wish to see you again before I go to California if there were a time that would be possible. I will email you, but the sort of going away party will be on July 8th in CT.
No matter where I am, I'll still check in with you one way or another, through LJ or through email. I like reading this trend towards healing. It does get better, you know. Not always easier, but I've found that you can really feel the lightness in your step once you stop carrying so much hurt around.
