Now, I know that some of you think that The Stranger is really lame, but it's still better than Seattle Weekly, and I read their Read more... )

pot pie sounds delicious. how does the pizza fit in, though?

I think you should apply for the internship - it would be worth it. But you should apply to grad school first.

Oh, pizza doesn't fit into the pot pie at all. Pizza is incidental (it's been a while since anyone in Tacoma's had Totino's at the proper price of $1/ea.).

Given that The Stranger wants to do interviews next week for the internship, I think I'm going to have to apply to that first. It's cool, though. I'm going to spend the weekend finishing my NYU app., and that's the only one due this month.

I would totally start the revolution. Maybe the reactor, too.

I also love shitty frozen pizza a ton. In fact, my love for it puts the "ton" in "gluttony."

don't panic. You'll get in. You're way smarter than me.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, although we're kind of apples and oranges. Besides, I was under the impression that Tisch was rather competitive, and you've got talent and had a good life-long resume of relevant experience. I'm just like, "Uh, hey, guys, I think I might want to be a writer for a while, even though I haven't done journalism since high school and haven't enjoyed doing it since middle school...but I swear I'll be awesome at it! Please let me in?"

But really, all deadlines make me panic. And then I do really good work because I get all panicky and adrenaline-filled. That's why I like working with them, which is part of why being a writer is attractive to me.
