Things I am doing instead of writing my Yuletide:

+ writing post-Covenant Nick/Alan
+ writing an odd Highlander/Young Wizards crossover in which Nita is trying to figure out whether she needs to stop the Gathering, and also is having tea with Methos
+ reading more Vorkosigan books
+ talking about absurd Killjoys/RocknRolla fusion fic with

Hah! When do you traditionally start writing your Yuletide? (I traditionally dive in right away! And then stall for most of December. And then post frantically a day or two before the deadline.)

I APPROVE OF THIS!! LOL

Things I am doing instead of Yuletide:

-writing BBC!Sherlock fic
-reading really bad Draco/Harry fic
-watching Jon Stewart

I like my yuletide and yet...the procrastination is EPIC this year.

Yuletide ... writing?
I have approximately one whole paragraph!

I have however, thoroughly reviewed canon and have been thinking a lot about Yuletide. Just not so much with the actual writing. I plan on wandering out to a cafe this weekend and writing for a couple of hours. On further consideration, this will probably require multiple trips to various cafes.

P.S. I MISS YOU.

I'm not doing one this year! CRY CRY CRY. I kind of regret it, but I'll still frolic around on the archives on Christmas day.

I finished a treat that gnawed on my brain while I was browsing letters. My assignment itself is, I think, just over halfway done.
I had one of those 'oh god WHY DID I OFFER 'ANY CHARACTERS' THAT WAS STUPID OF ME' moments, so I let it percolate while I worked on the treat; that was exactly what it needed to help fill in the plot. (I came up with the basic idea the night I got the assignment, but especially given the requested characters, I needed to chew on it a bit.) And after a bit of canon review last night, I think I know where it's headed!
...Possibly should have thought over my setting a bit more. I don't regret choosing it, but... wistfulface. (Also it's making me hungry half the time I write. XD)
