Crazy Cat Lady Post

Last night I settled in to watch some movies and work some more on the blanket I am knitting. In order to do this, I needed to clean off the clutter that has accumulated on the futon and fold the futon back into a couch. First I moved the basket of folded laundry to the rocking chair, then piled it with some blankets, sheets and towels that I had ( Read more... )

If you're a crazy cat lady, then so am I! Sometimes I embarrass myself with how much I talk about the kits. GAH!

So cute, though. *gives 'em head scritches*

Also, that knitting might BE a pain in the ass, but it looks divine. Wow. If I had the money, I'd commission one from you!

I've always liked the idea of being the crazy cat lady, and though my house is not completely over run with the beasts, at times I certainly act it. I think my knitting also fits into the crazy cat lady persona very well, too. Granted, I really need to start knitting crazy things for my cats to really round that out.

Thank you!! The blanket is actually super easy to knit, it's simply time that I'm worried about. I'm already thinking about what color I should pick out to make one for myself, or to make this one for myself.

I finally finished one panel last night and started the second. I think I'll have to make at least 6 or 7 panels instead of the five the pattern calls for. I used a different weight yarn and have been adapting the number of rows needed to make the blanket the correct length. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll only need to do one more panel to get the correct width.

She continues to nap in that spot and the chair hasn't tipped over yet! She must have done all the math and knows exactly where to land and sleep to keep the chair upright.

We definitely need to do a stitch'n bitch marathon! I'm pretty sure that my roommate will be back home in the next few days, which free's me up a lot for a stitch'n bitch. I'm tentatively planning on this Wednesday getting together with you!
