“Bedroom, now,” Sherlock told him, stepping closer and staring at him intensely. “I have a sudden need for a shaggy bang.”
I don't understand why Sherlock feels the urge to get a new hairstyle and even less why he wants to make this capillary experiment in the bedroom, but hey, you're the author. ;-)

P.S. Welcome back, Plotbunny!

Who am I to dissuade Sherlock from getting a new hairdo if he wants one? As long as he doesn't want the SherCurls cut short, in which case I would be attempting some dissuading.

And presumably the hair-cutting scissors are in the drawer of his bedside cabinet, for reasons unknown. *shrugs*

I'm not sure when John became a qualified hairstylist, though ...

*chortle* Oh that's brilliant!!!

"...unlike the many times that I have gritted my teeth through an otherwise readable and enjoyable fanfic because Sherlock, John and other Brits are saying “gotten” all the time."

*nods heartily* And the other one is that British men don't wear "pants" on the outside"!!

Thanks for the laugh!

*giggles* Yes, I too get confused when either of the boys goes to the bedroom, puts on a shirt and some pants and then heads out into the street. The mental image is most disturbing ...

Tea aspiration is contagious. anonymous May 22 2017, 20:06:17 UTC
Was looking for something entirely different (I know I've seen a transcript of the newspaper snapshots on JW's "blog" around here somewhere.....) and caught the title. Despite my across the pond location/origin I smiled, clicked, and then almost aspirated my tea! Wonderful. Thanks for making my day.

Glad you enjoyed it! I'm not sure whether to be proud or guilty that I have apparently caused several people to have near-choking episodes!
