Since when is finding that third road and embracing liminality in the mean time ever easy? ;-) Doable, yes... painful, yes.... I love the Victor Anderson quote about witchcraft being a martial art.
I find it ironic how, from the outside, people hear "Do what thou wilt" and think that witchcraft must be an easy path, without realizing just how much work and painful introspection is involved in knowing that Will. It's like the one thing my wife will never let me forget, years ago before I knew how to ride, when I asked her, "Why are YOU tired from your riding lesson? Doesn't the horse do all the work?"
I'm personally in the middle of some thwumpage from the Red God. If I may ask, what kind of thwump did Wepwawet deliver?
So true. I think my path is why all this crap is coming out now. I also think (for me at least) Feri and Thelema work together well - I need to be whole so I can know my Will and do it. And I need to hold some space for myself and remember that it's a process.
I think we mean thwumpage in the same way - a god being interesting in you, right? My thwumpage from Wepwawet was over a month or so. I started feeling drawn to him near the end of the summer. (I learned about him from some stuff lilairen wrote.) I realized that I had "opened the way" for people through mentoring, both in magical and "mundane" (hah!) stuff. I started seeing the fruits of this near the end of the summer. I didn't think anything would come of that "pull" though
( ... )
Neat! I will be very interested to read those entries.
Stuff like this reminds me that I am in fact doing Wepwawet's work, which is nice. As dumb as it sounds, I'm afraid of disappointing Him. (Or any of the Ones I'm devoted to.)

I'm definitely going to respond in detail soon, likely in a long-overdue update to my Feri filter.
P.S. I had an interesting meeting with Wepwawet this morning. He's cool. I'm definitely going to write about it. Thanks for the introduction!
