I wish more people were this introspective. I've always found Xian to have her head screwed on reasonably straight as these things go, and watching an already competent (if flawed in some ways) artist seek to expand their repertoire fills my heart with gladness. How refreshing to have someone a) actually get constructive criticism when they ask for it and b) not flip out at it.

It's kind of creepy that you can search by "fetish/specialty."

No kidding. Far too often the "give me C&Cs plz" request is just a thinly-veiled demand for compliments from the peanut gallery. Especially on artsites that aren't focused on being extremely cutthroat (such as ConceptArt.org, which terrifies me with its splendors); anything short of THIS IS GREAT PLEASE HAVE MY BABIES is met with derision and claims of stupidity/jealousy, often from other fans. It's a mess.

As for the search function, be glad unlogged visitors can't see stuff flagged as Mature or Adult. I have a watch account there to keep tabs on a friend or two, and good gravy the horrors I have seen...

By the way, is your AIM the same it's been since you gave it to me a billion years ago? Because if it is I'm going to feel pretty retarded, since I'm on all the time and keep peering at one name on my tiny watchlist and wondering who it is.

I'm too lazy to find the link, but the Snapesnogger vs. Conceptart deathmatch is hilarious and is probably easy to find. She's one of those average artists who has a HUGE rabid fanbase, and she wasn't at all prepared for the folks on there to do anything but kiss her ass the way they all do.
Apparently, her mortal enemy is the nose.

I do have the same aim I've had forever, mostly because I never give it out to new people so I don't care that it's ridiculous.

I remember that. Oh man, that cracked me up, especially how she's a self-proclaimed expert on the critters (despite the fact that they tend to look...not Hindu at all). Mpreg is serious business, donchaknow.
