...but at least I'm almost done with my newsletter. All I have left is the mailing information, drawing and scanning in the logo and "photographs," and figuring out if I can get QuarkXP to play nice with the most recent version of Adobe Illustrator so my imported EPS files aren't mutated. OT, but this weekend is when I'm going to be in town. If you're free I'd love to grab coffee sometime. I'll be flying in Friday evening at 8 and leaving Monday around 4. Paul's coming up to visit Sunday mid-afternoon and I'm probably going to the symphony Saturday night, but I'm free the rest of the time.

Oh, hey, awesome! Would 10:30 AM Saturday work for you? I'll hopefully have all my work scraped together by then, and if not it's plenty of time to grab a coffee (and be all HAY LOOK AT MY SKETCHBOOK, I'll warn you now) and socialize before beating feet for campus.

That Borders is still around and still has a Starbucks, if it'd be convenient for you.

All we did last week was work on the projects. Nothing important, other than an ominous hint that something is waiting in the wings for the early finishers. . . *shudders*

Mine's done, but I nicked photos for it. Working left no drawing time anymore, wah!, but at least it's done and all I have is Illustrator to worry about.

Speaking of which, I used EPS in mine and didn't have mutation problems when it printed. The low-res sampling in Quark looks like crap, but it doesn't print like that, thankfully.

No problem! Now I just need to make sure my stupid flashdrive is with my school stuff so I can give her the output information for the layout. D'oh!
