We passed January and didn't get rent raised.  The landlord seems to just be happy to get regular rent and isn't fussy if we end up a week or so late waiting on checks to arrive in the mail from our online work.  We decided that we're probably going to stay in this placed until the Kid graduates from high school (he's a freshman now

How exciting! I'm envious. I've got a balcony now, but no garden. Maybe next year ... :)
