You could have ended this fic in the previous chapter, sweetie, and it would have made for a great ending. Yet, this epilogue puts a lovely cap on things.
The boys married and content, Aly and Ash happy together, even Chad and Adrienne. *sits and smiles*
After a rough week for me, getting to reread this was a lovely balm.
Actually, I'd originally planned to have the boys' wedding reception as the beginning of the sequel before the jump 3 years into the future. But the muse wasn't overly fond of that idea. So the epilogue for this one was born. :)
And in trying to work on two separate timestamps for this 'verse I ultimately decided they'd work even better if I just put them together (the plot's stronger that way too). Just like 'Back To December' (the one where Jensen tutors Jared) this timestamp will jump around in years a bit too. I like writing them that way I've discovered. Gives us a chance to see the boys different ways before they come together and after they've been with each other for awhile.
But anyway, I'll have more from this 'verse posted eventually. So much for me giving up the J2 for awhile, huh? ;) I blame summer. :P
The wedding was going to be at the start of the sequel? Hmmm, I could see that but I think I prefer it better here. It gives it a nice sense of closure.
Oooo, timestamps! Goodie! And hey, you gotta go where the muse takes ya, right? Summer is definitely good for your muse. :-)
