Thanks for sharing both of these, hon! I actually just found that song ("shut up and dance") via another fandom video. Really liked it so I was grooving along with it on the Dasey. Which it fit really well with.
The Raya video...yeah, about halfway through I was like "um..." but as you said, it got good at the end.
You're welcome, sweetie! :) I'm glad you enjoyed the Dasey one. It's a great song and fits them very well, huh? I actually heard it a few weeks back for a promo they were doing for something. The CW maybe? Can't remember for sure... Anyway, despite it being a boy/girl song it got me thinking how I might end that J2 fic I keep talking about. Gave me the warmfuzzies. Then I found the Dasey vid and then, as per usual, I ended up distracted... :P Got working on another fic, leaving the J2 behind for a bit.
As far as the Raya vid goes I actually discovered the song a few weeks back shortly after it was first released. And absolutely fell in love with it. We really need more girl/girl, boy/boy songs in our lives. No matter what form they take (love triangle etc.) At least, I think so. Then after giving the song a real work out on my iTunes I found the Raya video on a Riley/Maya tumblr site. Been enjoying the hell out of it ever since. :)

I wouldn't be surprised. "Shut up and dance" seems to be very popular. After I found it I found a whole bunch of other videos using it (because it is boy/girl, it tends to be very popular for het ships, I noticed, but does get used for slash too). Glad it helped you with the J2 fic.
We do need more girl/girl, boy/boy songs out there, don't we?
