For your amusement : Boy Drama - Part One (The Scarecrow)

*Note - these are stories from the week-long trip to the Poconos I went on with Billy's (my Jacob's) crew in the beginning of August.

But first...if anyone missed the pics from my Murder Mystery Dinner outfit, you can view them HERE.

Anyway, my boy drama made me feel like I was trapped in some kind of Tim Burton-esque kind of OZ, so I named my 3 ( Read more... )

Firstly, what is it with everyone thinking about '10 Things I Hate About You' lately?
(Just finished watching it myself, and it feels like everyone on my flist started talking about it once I started and has been since I finished. Weird.)

Sorry to hear about the Scarecrow.
(My first mental image of that name is Cillian Murphy's Scarecrow from 'Batman Begins', but that's an aside.)
That whole texting thing is...weird. And kind of inappropriate. That's not even touching A-Cup -- she sounds like just a bad idea all around and another bad ending waiting to happen, seeing as that's how it's played out. Eep.

Hope karaoke at least goes well, as does the new school year. My thoughts are with you.

(And by the bye, you look smokin' in those Murder Mystery Dinner photos. Just in case I didn't mention it, because you should hear it.)

There's no need to be sorry about the Scarecrow...it is what it is. We're friends, and I'm happy the way things turned out. Well...except for the whole A-Cup thing. But that's his choice, and I'll support it as long as it makes him happy.

Karaoke was amazing - I pretty much spent the entire night talking with my current crush, who stayed out until 2:30 despite the fact that he had to get up at 6 for work...and hugged me, like, four times when he walked me to my car. It was mildly awkward (as I was quick to point out), but really nice. I think he wanted to kiss me but wasn't sure if he should or not...and I kinda wanted him to, but we were in full view of the entrance of the bar, and I didn't like the idea of one of the others possibly coming out and seeing us. So after the last hug, I made him go home so he could get some sleep.

Our friend's birthday is on Friday, so I'll definitely see him then, and we'll see what happens...

Fair enough in terms of Scarecrow, I guess. I'm still stuck on the A-Cup thing myself...but I get weird about stuff like that. What's the age difference there? Or do I even want to know?

Glad that you've come to terms with it, anyhow, especially the fact that you're still friends.

And a big ol' AWWWWWWWWWW to you and your current crush. That all sounds really sweet even through the awkward you're describing. Crossing my fingers for you Friday. Here's to hope!
