I got the biggest grin on my face when I saw this had been updated!!!

Loved Mer and her pastrami...that was too funny! And the realizations Derek had as he toured the hospital with Mer were great!

My favorite part - "Don't ever let me not come home." That's completely Derek and I love that he can not only say that to her, but she gets it and tells that it won't happen.

Totally love the Derek/Meredith tour of NYC and looking forward to diving into the rest of this part.

It's so funny how much I dreaded NYC going into it and yet I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the end results! Thanks so much for the feedback. That was my favorite line to write.

Great part...I like how even as Meredith and Derek are resolving things and moving forward you bring back the fact that Derek still has issues in other areas and that he still has a long way to go towards getting over what happened to him in regards to Addison and Mark. But I love how in sync Derek and Meredith are becoming. And that they are acknowledging all the scary things like age differences and being absent.

On to the next part!

That was great. I loved seeing Derek ask her to make sure he doesn't even become absent again. I liked seeing what he was thinking about all that. It was great seeing Meredith reassure him, too. And I love to see that he's so much happier in Seattle, that he's figuring out that Seattle feels like home much more than NY ever did.

Thanks so much :) Seattle definitely fits Derek better, I think. I actually really wonder if the show will ever explain this strange shift. Because he just does not seem like an NYCer to me, not really (canonically speaking).
