Thank you so much for the feedback :) Writing this really helped me going into the finale. I was a little surprised by how the finale turned out, though. Did Shonda really think that was acceptable as a series finale? I'm so glad contracts were renewed. Otherwise... Yikes!

I figure the pilot is toast. Someone else has to die for there to be any kind of gesture toward realism, right, and no one else seems like a good candidate. Except maybe Arizona since the actress is pregnant again IRL. But I like Arizona, so I don't want her to go. Mark is definitely sticking around because the fall out of Lexie's death is too good for Shonda to pass up. Therefore, I nominate the pilot.

Regardless of how it turns out, I think your next novel-length fic should pick up right here.
