OMG, my MerDer. :'( They're so hurt. But it's so beautiful how they're still there for each other. I was so relieved when Derek held her. Meredith has needed that for a while now. Once again, such a brilliant chapter!

Thank you so much :) I love these types of stories the best, where Derek and Meredith both need each other, and they're both fumbling around trying to figure out how to help each other despite their own pain. It's the kind of relationship drama that I can wholeheartedly get into, rather than fake separation drama or god knows what else.
