1) This commercial disturbs me for some reason. The mass hysteria and people just going postal....but still. Something about it just makes me cringe.

2) "The carrot is the mack daddy of beta carotene." That phrase should never be used in a cooking show. Seriously. I just kind of sat here in a very 'WTF' manner.

Scarily enough, it wasn't. It was Ellie Krieger, the nutritionist chick. Rachel would have probably not phased me as much just because she weirds me out, period.

A lot of those cooking show people are crazy-weird. Alton Brown is one of the few who just shoots straight.
