One thing about a ship out in the middle of the lake- it is quite easy to keep an eye on the whole perimeter from your vantage point. Meaning, it is sooner rather than later, when Wellard spots Hannah-

And it is easy enough to get to the raft moored up by the stern, and head over to where Hannah will be in a moment or so.

Hannah is not so focused on the running that she'd miss that level of activity. She's preoccupied, not stupid.

So she stops a little short of where she would have been in a moment or so, and shading her eyes, looks over at the lake to see what's going on.

And that? That's a smile.

When the raft is caught up enough on the shore so it will not drift away, Wellard heads over towards Hannah, smiling.

"I did recieve your note. I just haven't been in the bar much as of late, so I'm quite sorry that I missed you."
