Genes: if a horse is TOto, is he considered homozygote? If so, that means that some paint homozygotes could give other colors than tobiano, couldn't they?

Did you see the grey appaloosa on the internet? ( I can't link you because I'm at work and I don't have access to it here) Will he remain this color? I suppose so if someone paid more than 1000$ ( Read more... )

i'm a little bleary this morning and don't have my genetics book, but i'm going to take a wild guess at the genetics question and say that a horse would have to be TOTO in order to be considered homozygous ( ... )

hehe,Talking about bitting flies on a wedding weekend! We have those black flies, but at least, their season is not as long as mosquitoes'.
