If you're up for a little constructive criticism-

I got all excited when I saw this posted, because I loved the original, and I thought it would be awesome to read someone else's twist on it. Most reduxes (right plural?) have the same story setup only from the other person's POV, or some other twist on the same verse (i.e. POV of a third character) - the ones I've read, anyway. When I read yours, it was a little disappointing, because although you twisted the characters around a little, it was the exact same story. I took a look at telesilla's original and even many of the phrases and sentences are still the same. It's only my opinion, but I think that if this were my story, I would feel like I hadn't even written it.

Yeah, I agree. While I was reading, I kept thinking 'so are we just doing a search and replace on their names?'. I don't know the ins and outs of remixes, but this can't be it.
