Thank you! John is sad he couldn't turn Torren into a football fan. :)

Awwwwww! This is so incredibly adorable! I particularly adore little scientist!Torren, with his quizzical little frown, always tripping over his feet and looking up to Rodney ... d'awwwww. And oblivious!smitten!Rodney is just too cute, plus technophile!Teyla (always a favorite of mine!), facing her own resistance to new things as well. ^___^

I'm so glad you liked it! I loved in canon (Daedalus Variations?) that Teyla had learned about tech. We need more fic about that side of her!

yay! so cute. I love Rodney as the bumbling parent saying, "you should feel . . . bad (?!) for being a creative genius my almost son . . . wait, why am I giving in to peer pressure again?"

lovely little story. big smiles all around.

Thank you! He, yes, Rodney isn't sure he should trust his instincts when it comes to parenting, but his natural Rodney-ness wins through!

Oh, yes! I just adore Rodney's realization that neither of them should be repentant. (And his nervousness that Teyla won't see things the same way is cute.) The recognition that Teyla was the only other member of the team who showed particular interest in learning tech, and the natural alliance that gives her with Rodney, is spot-on. I can't even tell you how much I love the idea that Torren would just turn out to be more of an indoor kid and that Teyla would encourage him to live that out just as much as she would have encouraged more physical interests. And the likelihood of Sheppard initiating a discussion of feelings was about the same as the Wraith taking up organic farming - bwah! It's funny because it's so, so true.

Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it! I confess, I really like the idea of Torren growing up to share interests with Rodney too. And Teyla learned about tech in canon, which I loved. :D
