Oh, oh, how beautiful. The thread of telling Evelyn -- and that name made me want to cry even before I figured out whose daughter she was, just from the way you used it -- stories, of how sometimes they're real and sometimes they're more...

Thank you for making this a happy ending, but I'm still kinda weepy :)

I've finally managed to get through "a" far enough to reach "argosy" and oh, how I love your stories. This one, yes, and oh, the one with the plane-building, and oh, oh, the one with the dog-building. Poor John, he breaks my heart.
