Nope but I really want to go, loads of the people I like online are australian... I think I love your national psyche, which seems kind of joyous and physical and naive and interested in everything...

Forgive me if I'm in a cloud of unknowing over a terrain I should know, but: how did we wind up on each other's friend list? Not that I'm objecting - I like your writing, and appreciate your comments on my LJ. I'm just curious as to how it all happened.

My memory is like Gondwanaland.

Speaking of fragments of memory, I'm never sure what to do when I find my old floppy disks. They're like time capsules in cuneiform.

Once upon a time i was extremely bored with my friends list, and went a-questing for new ones. How to do this? I put 'jorge luis borges' in the interests search list, figuring that only awesome people would show up. they did!

I really liked your games theory+critical theory stuff, interesting and I don't come across it much... are you a lecturer in this subject?

yup! I use my friends page for like interesting input, and it's annoying when all people are posting is like memes and such, or stating some basic facts about what they did today. It's not what I use the internet for...

You are still my friends IRL though!

So are you back in america now?
