Well, if they used to be human they might have retained colour vision. Unless their cones have decomposed or something.

ONE OF UCL'S COLOURS IS PURPLE. I should know, I went there. ;) URGH BLOODY PURPLE EVERYWHERE all over uni stationery and the gift shop and urgh.
