I grew up on Next Generation too.:D I know intellectually that DS9's a better show, but I don't care - TNG is and always will be my favorite.:)

My library has Voyager season 1 on DVD (discs 1-5 - I'm assuming that's all of season 1). IF they're not too scratched up yet (as library discs tend to get after awhile:p) I can burn those and send 'em to you.:) Alas, no TNG at the library. We've got CSI season 1, though - is the original one Vegas? I've never seen it so I don't know. It doesn't saw "Miami" or "Fairbanks" or anything after it, though...My email's culurien@livejournal.com if you want to send me your address.:)

And I don't watch anime, either, but my sister does, and apart from a bunch you've mentioned she also likes Naruto, Inuyasha, and Vampire Hunter D. So if you're willing to trust a 15-year-old's recommendations...;)

Epic sci-fi/fantasy:

I know you were pondering Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell before - did you ever get around to it? Only one book, but it's big enough for two or three.;)

I would suggest Read or Die, Inuyasha, The Gundams, Rave Master and manga would be Prince of Tennis and Bleach, Whistle is pretty good.
