I'm back home, very happy to see the family, who were very happy to see presents. The changes in the house that I was warned about were mostly positive. The TV was hung on the wall, which is great. A fluorescent light was hung in the kitchen, which was okay. I'd rather have one that wasn't so fluorescenty, but at least I can see when I cook now.

It was wonderful seeing you again.

I haven't decided my fav part yet, but I will admit that the Library of Congress was a little disappointing, because I thought I'd see more books. The underground (it felt underground) entrails were cool though. I'm now going to envision Jefferson's books forever in the round, which is cool also.

I saw the Library as a kid so I wasn't surprised. I didn't know about the Jefferson library, though. I visited his house (Monticello) and remember all the gadgets and adaptions he made to make life more pleasant.

A guy who liked ice cream so much had to be a cool person!

I haven't decided my favourite part yet sightseeing wise..of course my favourite part of the meet was just being there with everyone.
I was disappointed that there weren't walls full of books at the Library, but the building itself was gorgeous.

Just hanging out was so much fun. And yes, no fires! My daughter has a very bad sense of humor. ;)
