You have nothing to fear. I'm into knitting, yard sale-ing, and I really enjoy a good bowl of soup, and I'm kick-ass. So um. yeah. being old is super rad.

and as long as thursday didn't make you start popping your collars, it's AWESOME!

Haha, yeah, I mean, for the most part I'm joking, but I guess getting glasses was the first official notice I got of, "Hey, Kate, you are mortal. You're not getting stronger anymore." And obviously I've got a long, long life ahead of me to go crazy and play kickball on the mall, etc., and most of the people I know (including my parents who are now in their late fifties still playing soccer with me on the weekends) have not let their age rule their lives, but I guess I'm coming to grips with the fact that one day, my body will begin to fail me. It already is, in fact.
Still, I realize I'm really just looking for something to complain about (and even though the rest of the world tends to look more sophisticated and intelligent in glasses, I think I look like a 1950's librarian.) Oh well!
