I hope that you get the house. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope beyond all reason for you. I know that school is a much, much better and enjoyable thing when where you live is your own. I somehow managed to avoid the dorms except for one quarter. And that was more than enough. In the dorm, nothing ever seemed clean enough, private enough, just enough.

Also, garnet is my birthstone as well. And I had never seen or heard of a green garnet. Now, I want one... What I will do with one is a mystery. But I know that I want one.

Lastly, Nag Champa is the smell of all things natural. I love it. Anything with that particular scent makes me close my eyes and dream of earth. It reminds me of the joy I feel in the simple act of turning soil, planting seeds, caring for my yard. I wish I didn't have to work today. I want to go home and play in my yard, cut the grass, till the garden, watch my tulips grow.

Oh, that house sounds beautiful. I want an old house with those old windows, so it always looks like it's raining outside. And a big garden with apple trees. And some stray cats running around too, perhaps.
